Festival Market

Festival Market

During the opening weekend, True Northern Arts Festival moves out into Torget in Harstad. Here, you can stroll between stalls, meet local exhibitors and taste your way through some of what the region has to offer on Saturday 20 June and Sunday 21 June, 11:00–16:00.

The Festival Market is a great opportunity to take a break between performances while getting closer to people, food and products from the local area. It is not only about buying something to take home, but also about discovering small-scale producers, hearing the stories behind the goods and feeling the festival atmosphere out in the town.

Crafts with personality

Among the exhibitors you will find Bevaremegvel from Harstad. This network brings together colourful local makers who create crafts and applied arts, with a particular focus on recycled materials and sustainable choices.

A taste of the region

You will also meet Kvæfjord Matkultur, a network of businesses that produce, sell and distribute local food and short-travelled experiences from Kvæfjord and the surrounding islands. The network presents itself with the slogan “The real thing, made with real love”, and brings together people who highlight food culture with strong local roots.
