We want you as a volunteer to have a safe and fun experience with us during this year's festival. We have volunteers who have been with us for over 20 years and come back every year, and we have many who will be volunteering for the first time. Regardless of whether you are a brand new volunteer or have a lot of experience, you will receive all the necessary training and be an important part of the festival's identity. You will help create a good experience for both artists and the audience.

When festival director Ragnheiður Skúladóttir presents the program for the 60th Festspillene i Nord-Norge, it is with a program that celebrates art and culture, both for children, youth and adults. This year, the theme is Common things made holy, a challenge to all of us to see the sacred or magnificent in everyday life. The festival's over 200 events provide the opportunity to do just that, especially because this year there are especially many premieres of new performances - in all genres.

NUK - Ny ung kunst is a cultural festival for young people from all over Northern Norway. The festival is held every year, and in 2025 the festival will run from June 22-29.
