The discussion around Dokkhallen has long left its mark on Harstad. Now, the public meeting widens the perspective: What do architectural choices mean for wellbeing, identity and development in the town? How can Harstad approach the aesthetic development of its centre – and how can different interests exist side by side?
External perspectives
The panel includes Gaute Brochmann, architecture critic at Morgenbladet and editor of the magazine Arkitektur. He brings a critical outside perspective on how towns and cities develop, and on the choices that can shape urban life for many years to come.
The debate will be chaired by Kjell Rune Henriksen, editor-in-chief of Harstad Tidende.
The public meeting is an open arena where audiences are invited to listen, reflect and take part in the conversation about how Harstad can continue to develop.
