Ungdommens Festspill is for anyone aged 13 to 17 who wants to experience lots of fun, make new friends, go to concerts, take part in activities and join social youth events. We invite participants to contribute as volunteers and help organise their own brilliant youth events – such as Bonfire, Open Stage and Block Party.

This is a social and informal arena with lots of fun on the programme. Everything on the programme is optional, and you can take things as they come. The programme takes place in the afternoon and evening, with any volunteer tasks scheduled earlier in the day. You will get dinner and supper every day, and can hang out at our main base, Ungdommens Hus, between the different activities.
Is it safe?
Ungdommens Festspill is intended to be a safe and inclusive arena for all participants. Adults will be present throughout the event and will be responsible for follow-up, wellbeing and carrying out the activities.
The adults help create a safe framework for participation during meals, shared activities and free time at Ungdommens Hus. Adults will also accompany the young people to concerts and other activities.
We are looking for youth volunteers
As a volunteer, you help us organise Ungdommens Festspill and the social events on the programme – while still taking part as an ordinary participant in all concerts and activities. Tasks may include everything from helping to plan, making posters and setting up, to running a mocktail bar, serving food and tidying up.
We will contact everyone who has signed up as a volunteer by phone after 10 June, to tell you about this year’s tasks and find out when you can and would like to help out.
Free participation
It is free to take part in Ungdommens Festspill. We encourage everyone to sign up as volunteers and help organise the activities – it is a great way to get to know the other participants even better, feel a strong sense of community and learn how to organise a festival.
Drug- and alcohol-free event
Ungdommens Festspill is a drug- and alcohol-free event. All use of alcohol and other intoxicants is strictly prohibited. Breaking the rules will lead to exclusion from the rest of the programme.
