Ane Brun is returning to the Festspillene i Nord-Norge, this time in a double team with Marte Eberson.
Ane Brun is a songwriter and artist in the top tier, she has excited audience and listeners with her unique voice and text universe since the start of her career in 2003.
She will bring with her Marte Eberson, one of Norway's most exciting pianists/keyboardists in bands such as Machine Birds, Eberson and Highasakite. Eberson is now central to the band LÖV.
Ane Brun has had an adventurous journey as an artist since her debut album "Spending Time with Morgan" (2003). She has gotten top reviews for a long list of brilliant albums and fantastic concerts. "It All Starts With One" (2011), "When I'm free" (2015), Leave Me Breathless" (2017), "After The Great Storm" and "How Beauty Holds The Hand of Sorrow" (2020) are some of the highlights.
The Norwegian-language album "Nærmere" (2022) fits nicely into this gold row. During her career, Ane Brun has also collaborated with, among others, Madrugada, Ron Sexsmith and Peter Gabriel. She has toured extensively in Europe in the last ten years, and is among Norway´s very best concert artists. Together with Marte Eberson, she has created excitement both at Moldejazz and Øya Festival in 2021 with songs from her rich 20 years music universe.
