During a five-day workshop in advance of the performance, we offer local children aged 7-12 to create and perform THE CHILDREN'S BAR with Krakkaveldi's artistic directors.
The children's bar is exactly what it sounds like - a bar run by children!
The children's bar is an experience work where children manage everything and jump into all jobs, mix non-alcoholic cocktails and lay down rules of living on the table for adults.
Do you want to join us and create the KIDS BAR? Workshop activities include getting instructions on how to cut hair and create real tattoos, practice giving advice to adults and carry out the hour-long experiential work. This workshop is perfect for children who want the chance to overturn the power dynamics between children and adults through performance and play.
NB! Remember to bring some food and drink.
The workshop ends with an hour-long performance on Thursday 29 June at 1700.
