What is THE SNN Park?

SNN Park is an exciting and interactive universe where children and young people can explore, play, wonder and be creative. Here, children, families, kindergartens and after-school care meet for play, performances, concerts and creative workshops, a place where laughter, curiosity and creative expression are given free rein.

The park is both an arena, a playground and a lively meeting place: a vibrant area that is filled with children's play and the joy of discovery during the day, and becomes a gathering point for young people in the evening. It is intended to inspire wonder about marine life, the maritime environment and the sea as a resource, while the park stimulates and realises children's imagination. Here, imagination is nurtured and imagination is nurtured.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a creator who can contribute to both the design and implementation of the park, whether you are a scenographer, designer, craftsman or have experience from creative development projects. You must have the ability to both develop ideas and realize them in practice, and preferably have knowledge of HSE requirements in design and construction.

What does the project entail?

• You will develop and further develop the park's concept over three years.
• You are part of the team that builds and sets up the park in June each year.
• The work requires that you have the capacity to contribute both in the development phase and during implementation.

Environmental focus

We are keen that the development of the park is particularly inspired by sustainability and the environment, as an important part of the Festival of Northern Norway's commitment to children.
