Choreographer and performer Silje Solheim shows excerpts from her project The Erik Show.
Silje Solheim Johnsen is a Norwegian choreographer and performer based in Tromsø. She holds a BA (Hons) Dance Theatre from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of music and dance, London and an MA in Dance Science from NTNU, Trondheim. Silje has been creating art for a young audience for over a decade, and has also in her later works involved children as performers. Her works have toured extensively in schools and festivals, nationally and internationally. Siljes work is often created for sites outside of the theatre, and many of her performances are for smaller rooms. Her works are created in a holistic manner in the sense that there is a strong connection between content, form and method which all informs each other. Currently she is working with non-dancers in close relationships as performers.
