Premiere
An apocalyptic catastrophe threatens outside a children's room, but inside it is even worse. Two sisters play their way through survival, struggling between realities and standing with their hearts in their hands - literally.
In Askesky, play and seriousness, naivety and brutality are balanced in a way that takes the perspective of young people seriously. Is there a connection between inner and outer crises?
The performance is created by Antistrofe theatre company and written by playwright Karoline Una Moen. Moen is based in Bodø and is part of the Open Call initiative at Festspillene i Nord-Norge. She has distinguished herself as an innovative voice in Norwegian drama in recent years, often with texts aimed at young people.
Askesky has its premiere during Festspillene i Nord-Norge and is suitable for both young people and an adult audience. Pre-talk at 4:30 PM prior to the performance at 5:00 PM.
