In imaginative, animal-like costumes, the performers move through the space with jumps, climbing and acrobatics that almost defy gravity. Perhaps they hover above the ground, perhaps they leap higher than you thought possible.
The performance takes place in parks, playgrounds and other public spaces, where audiences get close to the action. Together, performers and audience create a shared experience in which children and adults can discover new sides of the place around them.
A world of imagination
Animulius invites children to think outside the box, explore the possibilities of the imagination and be swept into a world of mythical creatures and wonder.
The performance is made for children aged 3 and up and their families. It premiered at Dansens Hus in Oslo in September 2025.
The choreographer and artistic director is Antero Hein, a Finnish-Swedish artist based in Oslo who works at the intersection of dance, parkour and performing arts.
This performance is for you if you:
- have children aged 3 and up
- enjoy imaginative outdoor performances in the town
- want to experience dance, parkour and play in the same universe
