Join an open and creative family workshop where children and adults can make their own colourful pictures together with artist Ragnhild Margretha Mietinen Krüger. You will get to try photo transfer combined with oil pastel – an exciting technique that creates both texture and powerful expression.
Explore materials and stories
In her artistic practice, Krüger draws inspiration from Kven culture, natural materials and traditional crafts. In the workshop, participants will be given an accessible introduction to these themes through practical work. No prior experience is needed – this is all about exploring, playing and creating something of your own.
Come and go as you like
The workshop is drop-in, so you can come whenever you like between 15:00 and 17:00. The activity is suitable for children up to 12 years old accompanied by an adult, and there will be plenty of time to immerse yourselves in the process at your own pace.
Part of a wider art programme
The event is part of the programme by Kven Kunstnerforbund, highlighting contemporary Kven art and culture. Here, audiences can encounter a living tradition in an open and inclusive form.
This event is for you if you:
- want to do something creative together with children
- are curious about art and Kven culture
- enjoy practical activities where you get to make something yourself
Drop-in for children up to 12 years old accompanied by an adult. Come whenever you like between 15:00 and 17:00.
