During True Northern Arts Festival, SNN Park is transformed into an open and inclusive area for children, families and curious people of all ages. Drop by whenever it suits you, stay for as long as you like, and experience a park that is constantly in motion. Throughout the day, the area will be filled with play, exploration and informal activities in safe and inspiring surroundings.
The park is open every day from 11:00 to 17:00. The exception is the opening day, Saturday 20 June, when the park opens after the official opening at 14:30. The final day is 27 June, when the park will be open until 17:00.
SNN Park is both a pause and a highlight. Here you can unwind between performances, let the children burn off some energy, or simply enjoy the atmosphere of a park filled with children and adults playing and exploring. Throughout the week, there will be various activities in the park, and on the final Saturday of the festival week there will be a big birthday party as Barnas Festspill celebrates its 60th anniversary!
This activity is for you if you:
- want a low-threshold offer for children and families in the middle of the festival
- enjoy creative activities, play and informal experiences
- want somewhere to spend time with children, completely free of charge
