The Rimfrost Theatre ensemble will take us all to The Kingdom of Heaven – a live science fiction audio experience.
The earth is laid low by crises. One family; a mum, dad, grandad and a boy called Heaven have purchased refuge in a container where they can live in peace. They are amongst the chosen few; as long as they pay for their food and protection. The container is transported to new places after various situations arise.
Heaven is at the end of his teenage years. He does not recall the world outside the container. His parents hide the truth from him and treat him like a little child. The situation changes when Heaven becomes ill. His grandad regards this as a result of his longing for the truth. His mum and dad seek to protect him at any cost. But the truth is knocking at the door. Reality wants to get in.
The Kingdom of Heaven is performed as a live audio experience with four actors and one musician. The audience and performers are seated as if in a normal concert. But there is no light or scenography. Just people, a text and our fantasy. Close your eyes and join us on a journey to the Kingdom of Heaven.
