Eivør’s musical palette has broadened since her folk beginnings as her albums and performances variably have included jazz, country folk, big band stylings, classical influences, and trip hop tinted rock. As of late, she has consolidated these experimental inputs into her own style of folktronica with heartfelt lyrical observations of life as it unfolds.

We have asked Eivør to make completely new music in cooperation with other artists for this Verdde Session, and she chose to work with the Faroese singer-songwriters Marius Ziska and Allan Tausen.

This May they will meet to make new music together, and with their background from the Faroe Islands and Greenland, different musical styles and warm presence on stage, we look forward to the result of this collaboration. We expect a unique and grand experience!
