PREMIERE
In this composition for Music in Nordland's string ensemble, associate artist Valgeir Sigurdsson searches for the unique human element in music at a time when digitization and algorithms are becoming increasingly important. Here you meet a network of sounds, unpredictable and beautiful, presented by a string quartet, live electronics and keyboards that let the answers unfold.
Why does our brain prefer certain sounds or melodies? Why do we feel drawn to different sounds? Does our heart feel something completely different?
