The Norwegian Girls' Choir with conductor Anne Karin Sundal-Ask is a choir school for talented singers mainly from Oslo. The singers are aged 6 - 26 years and come in after an entrance exam. The choir was established as NRK's Girls' Choir by Marie Foss in 1947, and has since established proud traditions and a high artistic level. With an artistic profile that is both innovative and traditional, Det Norske Jentekor has a goal of creating strong expressions that affect the audience as well as singers. The Studio Choir, the oldest group in the Norwegian Girls' Choir, is coming to Festspillene i Nord-Norge. This is an offer for girls in high school and older.
