Families, friends, young and old are invited to join the exciting game Playing up - where the participants themselves are involved in creating the art
Here you can try up to 12 different performance works on your own body, with young guides from Harstad explaining the context in form of posters.
You will be given props to recreate performance works that are about everything from sushi, king for a day or dancing to a political protest.
PLAYING UP is produced and published in collaboration between the Live Art Development Agency (LADA, UK), FUNDUS THEATER / Theater of Research (Germany), Tate Early Years and Family Program (UK), Best Biennial (Sweden) and Live Art UK, with generous support from the Goethe-Institut London.
PLAYING UP - The Nordic Edition is supported by Nordisk Kulturkontakt, Nordisk Kulturfond, Statens Kunstfond and Director Michael Hermann Nielsen's Memorial Scholarship.
