Do you want to join us and create the Children's City? During a five-day workshop with local children, we imagine what Harstad would look like if children ran Harstad and put their ideas into practice by using effort and direct action to realize their dreams. The workshop ends with an explosive performance.
During a five-day workshop prior to the performance, we offer local children aged 7-12 to create and perform CHILDREN'S TOWN with Krakkaveldi's artistic directors.
The workshop focuses on giving the children the tools and space to create their own dream community. We work with children's ideas about how they can change their hometown, and end with a performance where the children present their ideas to residents as well as the city authorities. Activities include creating a protest march and creating a mini version of their dream city in the performance. The workshop is perfect for all the children who want to get tools to make real changes in the world, locally and globally.

The workshop ends with a performance on Thursday 29 June at 1400.
