It wouldn't be a Festspill without the Army's music corps' outdoor concerts. This tradition has stood since its inception in 1965.

This year's musical director is flotilla master Erik Eilertsen, daily trumpeter in the Norwegian Armed Forces' staff music corps in Oslo.

Eilertsen always has a musical ace up his sleeve when the program is to be made, as he is also one of the Armed Forces' music's skilled organisers. We are not revealing anything yet, but we can promise two lively outdoor concerts with a program suitable for the summer.
