After presenting 50 loudspeakers in an abandoned factory, an old train station and other various outdoor settings, Fabrice Moinet starts the next phase of his artistic journey with the sound installation "The Time Difference of Arrival".
• In the morning there will be fifteen-minute listening sessions for two members of the public at a time.
• The performance premieres at 19:30, with live music.
The experience takes the form of an interdisciplinary playground involving 50 speakers and collaboration with various musicians and sound artists. Moinet himself studied mathematics and physics at the University of Bordeaux and later studied sound engineering.
The performance is part of the open call scheme for Festspillene i Nord-Norge. With the development program Open Call, Festspillene i Nord-Norge builds comprehensive structure for the development of new, northern interdisciplinary work towards the future. The program consists of an open call, and is open to professional artists within all art forms in Nordland, Troms and Finnmark. The Open Call is supported by Talent Norge and Sparebank1 Nord-Norge Samfunnsløftet.
