From Arctic Inspiration to Musical Innovation: Anneli Drecker and Hærens Musikkorps/ the Army Band in Harmonic Collaboration.
For years, Anneli Drecker has been one of Norway's most innovative and respected singers and composers. Her music is characterized by fearless innovation, always with a hint of her Arctic identity.
Drecker has made her mark both as a solo artist and as part of the band Bel Canto. Her artistic journey is also marked by collaborations with a number of internationally recognized artists and contributions to various music projects, which have enriched her musical expression. Now, for the first time, she will share the stage with Hærens musikkorps (the Army Band), which has invited some of the country's foremost arrangers to give her music a completely new musical setting, specially adapted to Hærens musikkorp´s wide musical and expressive range.
There will be songs from her entire career, including from her four solo albums and releases where she has collaborated with others.
The songs range from groovy electro-pop to atmospheric soundscapes, masterfully adapted to Hærens musikkorps’s acoustic brass and percussion instruments.
The songs are arranged by Erlend Skomsvoll, Jon Øyvind Ness, Lars Erik Gudim, and Petter Winroth. The concert is led by Ob Lt Lars Erik Gudim.
