The exhibition makes research accessible to everyone. Through colourful posters, short texts and QR codes, you can explore themes such as sustainability, belonging, and children and young people’s perspectives on the Arctic. Here, the big questions meet lived experience – from growing up and community to thoughts about the future.
Share your own thoughts
The exhibition is also interactive. Audiences are invited to share their own reflections and experiences along the way. Perhaps your thoughts will become part of new knowledge about life in the north?
Experience the exhibition in VR
On Sunday 21 June at 15:00, you can also experience parts of the exhibition through VR headsets at Kreativt Verksted at UiT (entrance from Havnegata 1). This offers an immersive and different way into the themes.
Representatives from True North 2026 – Tromsø European Youth Capital will be present during the opening at 12:00 the same day in Svalbardparken. The exhibition is staffed and available throughout the week.
This exhibition is for you if you:
- are curious about how young people in the north view the future
- want to experience research presented in a simple and engaging way
- like taking part, sharing opinions and contributing to public debate
