Takala was offered a leading role in Le nozze di Figaro by the Dresden Opera and the premiere takes place on the same evening as our opening concert. With this role comes a two year engagement with the Young Artist Ensemble based at the opera. 

We wish to congratulate Tuuli Takala on this unique opportunity. We are delighted to have found an equally wonderful replacement for our opening concert and Sibelius celebration. 

We look forward to welcoming the winner of the piano competition Top of the World, soprano Reetta Haavisto and The Arctic Philharmonic.
