At the workshop you will come to a large table filled with clay. The clay table will be in constant development; a landscape that is constantly changing based on the hands that shape it. What do you want to shape, I wonder? Landscapes, beings, roads or just structures? Feel free to bring an object that has a shape or structure that you like, preferably something you have found. You can use this to create structures and patterns in the clay; or should the object perhaps be part of the landscape? You have to explore this yourself!
Clay is a unique, malleable material that gives an immediate response when you touch it. This creates an exciting dialogue between hand and material, which is exciting for both adults and children. This year, Norwegian Craftsmen turns 50, which will be marked with many large and small events in the country during 2025. At this workshop, you will be guided into the clay's universe of possibilities with a professional craftsman.
Bring your child or grandchild and experience something unique; a large table of clay that you can shape however you want! Will you collaborate or design for yourself? Will you be able to keep up with your child's creativity?
