Program
Breakfast meeting (NO)
For our Norwegian speaking participants, we invite you to join Talent Norge, Music Norway and Balansekunst for a special breakfast workshop all about their new launch of the online course “Se en gang til.”
“Se en gang til” is an online course geared towards the arts and culture industry with the goal of creating a more inclusive and representative arts sector. The course invites us to think about who is allowed into the arts in a new way. The course features eye opening video interviews with artists such as Jonis Josef, Kjersti Horn, Ella Marie Isaksen og minister for arts and culture, Lubna Jaffrey.
At the heart of it
In an effort to mobilise and energise the conversation we are invited to three different venues in Harstad. The venue Støperiet, the clothing store and company Vakre vene and the collective space Preg gives us short insight to how they work and we, collectively take the conversation further. NORDAFØRR attendants are split up in three groups that will spend around 40 minutes in each place discussing the themes presented here below. At the end of the sessions the group unites for quick reporting.

Speaking
In international forums, such as NORDAFØRR, English quickly becomes the main language thus giving native English speakers an advantage. In Norway there are two official languages in addition to several minority languages, none of them English. How do we navigate our communication in international collaborations and dialogue around the power of language?
