Alexey Botvinov – piano
Alexey Botvinov is regarded as one of the world’s foremost interpreters of Rachmaninov. Over more than three decades, he has performed in more than 40 countries and established himself as a central figure in European musical life. Botvinov is known for his intense and poetic piano playing, where technical brilliance is combined with powerful musical communication. He is also the founder and artistic director of the Odessa Classics festival, and an important international ambassador for Ukrainian culture.
The Norwegian Army Band
The Norwegian Army Band is based in Harstad and is the Norwegian Armed Forces’ northernmost professional military band. With roots dating back to 1911, the band is a key part of cultural life in Northern Norway. Its musicians command a wide repertoire, from major classical works to new collaborations across genres. The band is known for its flexibility, strong communicative power and ability to create close encounters between audiences and musicians.
