Reb Parker (NO)

Reb Parker is an Oslo-based duo moving seamlessly between neo-soul, R&B and hip hop. With soulful chords, deep basslines and organically produced beats, they create a sound that is both dreamy and rhythmically grounded. The vocals shift between vulnerable melodic lines and rhythmic rap, giving the music nerve and dynamic energy.

The duo consists of Rebecka Håland Skilbred on vocals and Nikolai Bergstad on guitar, who produce all their music together. Inspired by artists such as Erykah Badu, Hiatus Kaiyote, Noname and Flying Lotus – and with roots in the Soulquarians universe of the 1990s – they have developed a sound that combines modern hip hop with a distinctly Nordic sensibility.

From living-room concerts to full band

Their debut EP Getting Close (2025) attracted attention from international music magazines, and the title track was recommended by NRK P3 Urørt. Live, Reb Parker have grown from intimate, sold-out living-room concerts to established stages such as SALT and Mike’s Corner.

Since spring 2025, the duo have expanded their concert format with hand-picked jazz musicians. This gives the concerts a more dynamic and improvisational expression, with groove, interplay and presence at the centre.
